Spread a smile spread smiles virtually to terminally ill children
Having already received some broadcast coverage for the release of Smile TV, Spread a Smile approached us wanting support to get the news about their virtual entertainment programmes out to as many people as possible. At the time, other charities were making the news agenda about the support they were also giving during coronavirus so it was important to make Spread a Smile stand out.
As a result, we worked closely with the charity to get case studies of parents and children who had been supported by the charity so that they could be offered for interview. This led to us securing interviews with national outlets including LBC News, Talk Radio and BFBS. An interview with the main spokesperson and case studies also featured on BBC London. The potential reach of these interviews totalled at 2,500,000.
