Brits bawl more over celeb splits than their own relationships reveal Trainline
We handled the broadcast media relations for Uber’s announcement that they would be offering 200,000 free trips and 100,000 free meals for frontline workers in the NHS during the Coronavirus crisis. Launched on the same day competitor Deliveroo launched their initiative to support NHS staff as well as charity organisation Meals for the NHS; the food space was competitive across news outlets. We also had a limited number of assets compared to other stories who had broll and spokespeople available for broadcast interviews. Specifically targeting newsrooms, we secured coverage on Good Morning Britain, LBC, Capital Xtra, talkRADIO, talkSPORT and a further 41 BBC and commercial broadcast outlets who ran the story on their hourly news bulletins. Total potential reach of the campaign was 22,724,000.
