The 16th October is World Restart a Heart Day. On this day in 2022, Snapchat launched a brand-new AR lens which taught users CPR.

Statistics show that 1 in 10 cardiac arrests take place in public standings, but few people know the basic steps of CPR to help.

To help combat this, Snapchat teamed up with The Red Cross to launch a lens which taught this lifesaving skill to users.

We partnered with former professional footballer, Fabrice Muamba, for broadcast interviews on the day of the launch to increase awareness.

Fabrice suffered a cardiac arrest while playing football, so his emotive link to the story helped bring it to life.

We delivered interviews on BBC Sport, BBC News, BBC 1 Xtra, Sky Sports, ITV Granada, BBC 5 Live, talkSPORT, Heart, LBC and 10 regional BBC stations.
