About

To raise awareness of how beneficial being outdoors can be for your mental health, JD GO Outdoors partnered with mental health charity, Mind.

Their research found that half of people in the UK have struggled with their mental health, with two thirds saying spending time outdoors helps. In fact, walking was something that has helped many since the pandemic.

We worked with the two organisations, and their celebrity ambassadors – David Seaman and Julia Bradbury – to encourage people so spend time outdoors. We also raised awareness of a range of hats on sale, where all the proceeds went to the mental health charity.

The story aired on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Sky News, Sky Sports News, BBC News, Times Radio, BBC 5 Live, ITV West Country and 16 regional BBC radio stations.
