About

We worked with BUPA to explore how COVID has left many teens with physical health issues.

The pandemic took a tough toll on people across the globe, but did you know that the pandemic left three out of four teens with physical health issues in the UK?

We were humbled to work with BUPA as the association shone a light on how hair loss, digestive problems, migraines, and weight changes, were among the ramifications of the pandemic for teens. This equated to just under four million teens feeling close to breaking point when put into numbers.

Key messages were delivered to secure coverage on BBC Radio 5 Live, talkRadio, the BBC, and many commercial radio stations. This was done by utilising new data released by BUPA as part of its Teen Minds: Living Through a Pandemic and Beyond campaign that showed that 4.1 million young people had experienced poor mental health over the last ten months.
