We worked with Zurich Insurance on how flexible working could increase female applicants in business.

We were delighted to work with Zurich Insurance as they showed how opening up a business will move the dial in terms of gender diversity and inclusion. Research by the company found that flexible working due to COVID could boost applications from women for senior roles by as much as 20%!

By advertising roles on their website to have work from home or part-time options, Zurich Insurance saw a 33% rise in the number of women being hired for top positions. This slight difference became the catalyst for real change within the business, all due to the pandemic. 

Zurich Insurance hopes these figures will encourage other businesses to follow suit to gain a better gender balance at senior levels.
