Raising as much money as possible to find a cure for one of the world’s rarest diseases
It was a real privilege to support the H-ABC Foundation UK to help raise awareness of their story in an attempt to raise as much money as possible to find a cure for one of the world’s rarest diseases.
Amy, Ali and Michelle’s children all have H-ABC Leukodystrophy a degenerative neurological disease which affects only 200 people worldwide. This rare disease can mean that those affected will eventually not be able to walk, talk or properly feed themselves but these three Mums are not giving up!Over lockdown they’ve been doing what they can to raise money for research into the disease.
The mums had never met before and we offered national media the opportunity to bring these 3 mums together for the first time.
BBC Breakfast were keen to be part of it and we worked closely with them to logistically bring these woman together, all of whom live in different parts of the UK so they could come together were able meet for the first time along with their children!
