Uber pilot in-car partitions
Over the last five months, Uber have announced a number of changes to its business model as it adapts to the pandemic.
In May, we worked with the brand to secure broadcast coverage for their announcement that they would be piloting in-car partitions as part of new safety measures.
Uber partnered with the AA to install screens in 400 cars across Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham and also distributed masks and hygiene kits to drivers and couriers who use the Uber platform in the UK.
We filmed b-roll of the screens being fitted into the car of an Uber driver and pushed this out to media with coverage landing on BBC News Online, Good Morning Britain, Sky News, BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat, BBC Radio 5 Live, LBC, ITV Tyne Tees, BBC Newcastle, Metro Radio, TFM and more – all of this done through the creation of key assets without offering a spokesperson.
