Very Eases Parents Home Schooling Worries During COVID19'

For many parents, lockdown caused concerns that education for their little ones would be damaged as schools shut their doors.

Many had to step up to educate their children at home during the pandemic which meant that time couldn’t exclusively have been dedicated to subjects like maths and history as parents simply were not experts in these areas.

We conducted research on behalf of – who stock a considerable amount of educational products for young people including back to school items – looking at the life skills many of our young people have gained during the period.

According to the results, 47% of children learned a new cooking skill while 33% took up gardening.

Coronation Street star and mum, Catherine Tyldesley, encouraged the nations parents not to worry – and think about the broader skillset young people will now have.
