Following the growth in popularity of e-scooters, the charity Guide Dogs commissioned the UK’s first crash testing of e-scooters in the UK.
The charity did this to raise awareness of the serious threat e-scooters pose to the public, especially older people, children and the two million people living with sight loss.
We used the findings of this research, along with a spokesperson from the charity and case studies to secure coverage on the story.
It aired across BBC Breakfast, BBC North West Tonight, ITV Meridian, GB News, and regional BBC Radio.
